ADELAIDE FASHION FESTIVAL OCTOBER 11-15
Golden girl Jennifer Hawkins is putting her midas touch on the Adelaide Fashion Festival. The 2004 Miss Universe is the face of Myer which has come of board as a sponsor of the five-day festival, which runs from October 11 to 15.
With Myer staging AFF events in its Rundle Mall store, Hawkins will make an in-store appearance on October 13.
“I’m looking forward to it … It’s nice to work my way around Australia and I love Adelaide’s vibe – it’s very European,” she says, adding she loves South Australian label Acler.
“I wear Acler all the time … the designs are very innovative and they’re just cool girls. I can’t wait to see them explode on an international level,” she says.
Created by the former head designers for Finders Keepers and Cameo, Julia Ritorto and Kathryn Forth, Acler was signed by Myer in mid 2015 ahead of its official launch on the credentials of its impressive debut collection.
Hawkins’ labels, Cozi and JBronze, are sold in Myer.
